Airports – Terminals
Airport terminals require ADA, heel safe, and wheelchair safe grates in different loading classes to be able to accommodate the high volumes of traffic and the large variety of objects that will be moving within the terminals on a daily basis. With its products, ACO makes a significant contribution to the design, usability and ultimately also to the quality of life in these central areas.
ACO offers grates that are wheel chair, bike and high heel safe for areas with pedestrian traffic such as:
- Airline Check In
- TSA/Security Checkpoints
- Restrooms
- Waiting Areas/Lounges
- Terminal Restaurants and Cafes
Maximum Hygiene
Hygiene is a top priority in a commercial kitchen. Make sure that all components of the drainage system have a round bevel. Residues can easily get stuck in corners. Prevent your drainage system from becoming a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. ACO has developed HygieneFirst® products for this area.
Safety
Surfaces in an industrial kitchen should be slip-resistant. This also applies to the drainage boxes, channels or drains. The drainage system should be able to drain off large amounts of water quickly to avoid puddles.
Permanent Tightness
The connection area between the floor pan or floor drain and the floor covering should be permanently tight and level. This not only ensures that the system is more durable and stable, it also reduces the risk of various occupational accidents.
Bathroom drainage
Linear drainage removes compromise; allowing the drain to be positioned not only centrally, but against the wall or as a threshold. This elimination of complex floor grades ensures improved drainage, and improving installation by simplifying tiling and eliminating complicated angle cuts. Removing compromises ensures bathroom aesthetics and style is enhanced.
